You've bought a TB and want to activate it? Please follow the steps below, and if you do not succeed, you should always contact us for more information.
Surf the web browser from your computer to www.geocaching.com. On your smartphone or tablet it's not impossible, but it will look a little different.
Under Games , click Trackables.
Scroll down a bit, and choose "Activate a trackable".
There you see a field to fill out your tracking number (the TB code) and the Activation code.
The activation code has been delivered with your TB, was it not included? Then click on "Retrieve your activation code".
If you want to search for your lost activation Code, you will find the following screen. Simply enter your TBCode, and click "Go".
You will then get your activation code on the screen.
Go back 2 steps, and enter your TB code and your activation code, and click activate trackable
Then give your TB A name that you choose all by yourself.
The question of whether to collect TB is to answer "Yes" if you want to put it in your collection. The TB can then not get "travel logs", only be discovered. You answer this with "no" if you want to let it travel so that others don't think they can put it in their own collection.
The mission is also something you choose all by yourself.
Also the description of your TB Fill in yourself, and then click Edit trackable Details.
Enter the date and location of issue, and complete the activation.
If everything went well you can see this on your screen.
